With great determination I want to make a difference in todays society with all demographics. I am here to tell my story; inspire and motivate especially those over 40 (change the trend) beyond 40 is just the beginning - we must not put ourselves on the back burner - we must pay ourselves 1st - with a healthy lifestyle. I believe competing is not everyone's passion, however the process of competing has taught me to follow my dreams with passion; self discipline; focus; determination and consistency. I've learn not to give up on myself; and truly prioritize what is important to my well-being. I am a MOM; Registered Nurse and Wellness Consultant with determination to make a difference and I promise you I will.......
I’m an athlete and this is my passion………Preparing for a competition is like being an artist, it's my creation……….I’m a sculpture that needs to be defined down to perfection. The results is a great masterpiece.........My photos are a work of art........created from the heart.... :)
I've been training with weights for approximately 24 years and also have previously competed in gymnastics. In 1987 I began competing in bodybuilding, in the Lightweight class, and did very well: earning first and second placings up to 1990. Then I took a long hiatus from the sport: attending school, becoming a registered nurse, working as a personal trainer, getting married, and having a child. Now I am single mom. I think turning back to weights and competition was a search for strength during the challenging times in my personal life. I quickly regained the fit form I once had and again began winning, only now in Figure competitions. Today I am muscular but still feel very pretty and feminine ... as a woman should feel. When I train, it's a passion, not work. I enjoy training because it makes me feel young -- especially at age 45.
At one time a friend sent me a message and compared me to fine wine….."You are like fine wine……..you get better with age". This should be true for all of us………we choose our path in life……..good health will open doors to all your dreams……..train with passion and from your heart.
Why I Love It: I love fitness because I am an athlete and nothing less.
How I Stay Motivated:
I find my passion for competing is a great motivator in itself. Competition has always given me great confidence and self-esteem to pursue other goals in my life. It also has helped me surmount the struggles in my life. Remember, it is never too late to start a fitness program or competition. I challenge all the young and especially those over 40.

Now I have my Cinderella suit and shoes and off to the Arnold Ball in one week ...........so excited! Maybe I'll meet my PRINCE CHARMING.............lol!!!

Ok the suit is being shipeed out today from ceejay6630@aol.com - from the U.S. So excited and can't wait to see it...........as soon as it arrives everyone will see it - I will put it on as my final photo before I step on that Arnold stage........I've worked so hard and kept up with it all; work; my son; training.............this journey has been smooth but the expenses is crazy .........I'm broke but it will be worth it when my final masterpiece is finished.........now just refining the… Continue

OK well heard from my trainer Mike Davies and he is happy with the results. He just mentioned to me now we are ready and must hold my present conditioning for the show!!! Yipee.......
Yesterday I had a cheat meal..........I had a small pizza with thin crust; pinneaples; sundried tomatoes and mushroom - it was so good! Also I have one more cheat meal next Saturday evening............yipee! I can't believe the energy I get the next day eating the pizza........fabulous!
