From day one, the Fitness STAR Team has been working very hard for ALL of our competitors and Fitness STAR Network members to build a fitness event organization and online community that supports them in their fitness goals and dreams! We are always here to support, guide, motivate and inspire our competitors any way we can to ensure they have the best competition experience and many opportunities to thrive in!!!

4. Fitness STAR goes beyond the realm of just physical satisfaction and physical appearance. We embrace the element of emotional well-being as well as promote positive energy and healthy state of mind for our competitors and community members.

5. Competition for competitors by competitors! The majority of the Fitness STAR Team is made up of past and present competitors including our Fitness STAR Head Judge so we know exactly what it is like to compete and we have designed our organization on how we would like to be treated ourselves and what we would like to see throughout our competition experiences. We share the experiences of hardcore training, strict nutritional plans, pure mental focus and sheer determination to compete ourselves so we completely know what it takes to get on stage!

6. We have our very own social networking platform called the Fitness STAR Network (http://FitnessSTARNetwork.com) to offer our competitors massive exposure, networking and the ability to market themselves within the fitness industry and it is totally FREE!!! Many FSN Members have already found much success through this medium by finding modeling jobs, photo-shoots, cover-shoots, sponsorships and jobs within the fitness industry. It is open to any fitness models, figure models, bodybuilder, athletes, personal trainers, photographers, talent scouts, modeling agents, fitness enthusiasts, gym goers, fitness companies, fitness magazines and more!

7. The Fitness STAR Team governs itself on ethical practices through fair judging, motivational feedback, constructive criticism and an open forum for any questions or concerns. We are always here to support ALL of our competitors however we can with the resources available to us to ensure they have a smooth, enjoyable competition experience.

We believe in educating our competitors and teaching them how to compete safely and sustainably by providing them with resources such as Fitness STAR Competitor Workshops and Fitness STAR Model Workshops as well as the Fitness STAR Network Forum (http://www.fitnessstarnetwork.com/forum) which is an online area to learn from, read testimonials and share competition experiences and knowledge with others so they too can grow and have incredible fitness related experiences!

Fitness STAR takes pride in our competitors achievements by recognizing their hard work through offering great prizes, cash, photo shoots, modeling jobs , spreading their name, promoting them to magazines, featuring them on the Fitness STAR Network and providing many excellent opportunities to forward their success within the fitness industry and beyond.

10. We have categories for first timers and experienced competitors with tall and short classes for females and males. The Fitness STAR Level system will ensure that our competitors compete against competitors of the same experience level as themselves. Our Fitness STAR Categories, Athletic Fitness Model, Muscular Fitness Model and Masters Fitness Model (40+) ensure that our competitors compete against competitors roughly the same size and build as themselves. This makes it as fair as possible to ensure our competitors are judged fairly and accurately.

11. Our eight Fitness STAR Judges have years of experience in the fitness, fashion and beauty industries and know exactly what to look for. They have a trained eye and an advanced scoring system which drops the high and low scores similar to figure skating while taking an average of the remaining scores to determine the final mark for each competitor. We spent lots of time and energy developing this system with the very credible, honest and ethical Fitness STAR Head Judge and her judging panel to ensure the fairest judging platform within the fitness event industry! We even have a comment judge so competitors can get their constructive criticism and positive feedback so they can improve themselves for future competitions.

Model /Athlete integrity is NOT compromised and all participants are seen and portrayed as serious athletes in our media, communications, events and in the roles we seek for them in the modeling world. Fitness STAR prides itself on maintaining a professional appearance and attitude and does not partake in any disrespectful or demeaning practices whatsoever. We thrive to foster and promote increased self-confidence, self-esteem and self-worth for everyone involved with the Fitness STAR organization!

We are always scouting for the Fitness STAR Model Agency which is a boutique modeling agency that specializes in representing female and male Fitness Models, Athletes, Athletic Fashion Models as well as sports specific trainers. We develop, manage and will be placing our models in a variety of commercial and artistic venues; Magazines and Publications; Advertising; TV, Film and New Media; Shows and Exhibitions; Promotions and Sponsorships; Endorsements and Appearances; Artistic and Creative Projects.

15. Fitness STAR does NOT have any membership fees, hidden costs, additional mandatory fees, fine print and/or surprises when you get to the event!!! Fitness STAR competitors are FREE to compete with any other organization they wish and we welcome competitors from ALL other organizations with open arms. Fitness STAR only focuses on the very popular niche of Fitness Modeling and does not have any bodybuilding or figure modeling although those competitors are welcome to compete in our Muscular Fitness Model Category.

16. Fitness STAR awards TEN $500 CASH prizes for ALL ten Level 3, 4 and 5 Category Winners amongst other great prizes so there are many more opportunities to WIN or place TOP 3 versus competing in a massive group with only one major prize. This gives more chances to more competitors to do well! On top of the great prizes we also offer our competitors FREE hair and makeup sponsored by STUDIO-H, L’Oreal and Mac Cosmetics!!!

17. Fitness STAR Model Search holds our events at upscale venues very rarely used by other organizations if at all to provide something new and different for the veteran competitors as well as let’s all of our competitors feel like stars! We also only have one big show in the middle of the day from 2pm to 8pm versus a pre-judging and evening show format which is something our competitors truly appreciate!

18. We utilize a T-Walk runway versus just using a stage so each and every competitor gets to walk the runway and truly feel like a model. The competitors walk right into the middle of the crowd to some amazing House, R & B and Hip-Hop music and are surrounded by the photographers and cheering audience who line the sides of the runway and the Fitness STAR Judges and VIPs who sit at the front of the runway.

19. We have amazing intermission acts for the friends and family who come to watch the competitors as well as a 20 minute “Fitness meets Fashion” runway show with TOP designers and/or TOP name brand fitness fashion companies right before the awards ceremony. Some of the models that are used are models that have already made it to our TOP Fitness STAR Levels and this is a way for us to get them the exposure they deserve as a model!
